Hello, I'm Zsorayii
I have always believed that every person carries a story worth hearing.
Some stories make us dance. Others make us question the world around us. Some remind us of people we have loved, places we have never visited, or moments we wish we could experience again.
I tell those stories through music.
I am fascinated by the different ways people live, love, celebrate, and express themselves. I love discovering new languages, exploring unfamiliar sounds, and finding the little things that connect us, even when we come from completely different worlds.
My music takes me to places I have never been and introduces me to people I may never meet.
But there is more to me than music.
I believe in kindness without an audience, laughter without a reason, and giving people the freedom to be themselves.
I believe that a stranger can become a friend, that a simple conversation can change someone's perspective, and that we have far more in common than we sometimes realize.
I am still discovering the world, one story and one song at a time.

My Music
ZSORAYII’s songs are not simply “sad,” or “political.” They are “uplifting,” and usually hold two or more emotional truths at the same time:
• Grief with gratitude.
• Anger with restraint.
• Dance energy with serious subject matter.
• Cultural pride with openness toward others.
• Memory with refusal to romanticize the past.
• Spiritual questioning with practical acts of kindness.
• Freedom with responsibility.
• Beauty with the question, “What will we build with it?”
For example, Mak refuses to tell people to forget pain, but it also rejects turning inherited pain into inherited hatred. Yoo - Meh misses patience and closeness from the past, yet refuses to bring back old injustice.
Zwina admires Africa’s beauty but closes by asking what people will create with what they have been given.
