Kiku
“Kiku” is a joyful and energetic story about friendship, music, discovery, and the unexpected bond between a talented inventor and a robot. Despite her extraordinary ability to bring machines to life, the inventor struggles with something seemingly simple: dancing to the rhythm of a talking drum.
When she discovers an old, broken robot and repairs it, she unknowingly creates a companion with an extraordinary talent for dancing. After mysteriously disappearing, the robot returns three days later wearing colorful clothes and showing off exciting new dance moves.
The robot patiently teaches its creator how to dance, guiding her through each step until she begins to find her own rhythm. As her confidence grows, she surprises the robot by inventing a dance move of her own, transforming their relationship into a joyful exchange of creativity and learning.
The song celebrates the power of music to bring together two very different beings.
At its heart, “Kiku” is a playful celebration of friendship, patience, and the joy of learning from one another.
The song's message: Everyone has something to teach and something to learn. When we share our talents, encourage one another, and embrace our differences, we can create something wonderful together.

ZSORAYII and Kiku dance together beneath a golden arch against a futuristic African city skyline at sunset. ZSORAYII wears a black-and-gold outfit with matching sneakers, gold jewelry, glasses, and a patterned headband. Kiku, a cream-and-bronze robot with large amber eyes, a red heart on his chest, and a teddy-bear charm at his waist, dances beside her. The artwork features the title “Kiku” in gold lettering and the ZSORAYII logo in the lower-right corner.
I fit wake the sleeping wire,
Make cold iron carry fire.
I fit turn one wheel to fly,
Make a broken wing touch sky.
But when the talking drum begin,
My two feet no know where to spin.
Left foot rush, right foot stay,
I miss the beat along the way!
I know the spark,
I know the wire.
But how I go
Catch this fire?
Oya, show me that move,
Make my feet catch the groove!
One step near, one step wide,
Let the drum become my guide.
Turn me round, bring me through,
I make you move, you show me too!
Oya, show me that move,
Make my feet catch the groove!
One old shape beneath the dust,
Broken hand and frame of rust.
One eye dark, one wire torn,
I join the lines till light is born.
E lift im head, e test im feet,
E turn around to face the beat.
I stretch my hand, e spin away—
One flash of light, e don escape!
Oya, show me that move,
Make my feet catch the groove!
One step near, one step wide,
Let the drum become my guide.
Turn me round, bring me through,
I make you move, you show me too!
Oya, show me that move,
Make my feet catch the groove!
Three long nights, no sign of am,
Then colored light beside my hand.
Red on im sleeve, gold on im shoe,
Na that same old friend I knew!
E slide to the left, e turn to the right,
E draw one circle through the light.
E reach for me, I shake my head.
E take one step and wait instead.
I try one step, my foot go wrong.
E show me where the beat belong.
I try again, e wait for me.
One, two, three—my feet agree!
My shoulder turn, my heel touch down,
I find my way around the sound.
E show one move, I answer two.
E stop—this step na something new!
I wake your light,
You wake my feet.
I give you motion,
You give me beat.
You show me one,
I show you two.
Now watch this step—
I made am new!
Oya, see me make my move,
Now my feet don catch the groove!
One step near, one step wide,
Talking drum dey by my side.
Turn me round, bring me through,
I make you move, I teach you too!
Oya, see me make my move,
Now my feet don catch the groove!
