Senja
A chance encounter on a colorful street in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, begins with a single note. ZSORAYII stops to listen to a musician playing the gamelan through an open window. Without exchanging a word, they discover a connection through rhythm, smiles, and dance.
As the evenings pass, she returns in different outfits, and their wordless musical conversation grows. But one evening, the window is open and the musician is gone. She steps inside and plays the familiar rhythm herself, hoping he will hear it and return.
Set against vibrant Indonesian streets and warm sunsets, SENJA is a story about the music we share, the people we remember, and the rhythms that stay with us.

Album cover for ZSORAYII’s “Senja.” At sunset on a glowing, rain-slicked street in Yogyakarta, a Black woman in a colorful African dress pauses outside a warmly lit window, captivated by an African man playing Indonesian gamelan instruments. Traditional architecture, lanterns, and flowers frame the scene, symbolizing two cultures connecting through music without words.
