Lumière
The song honors the invisible workers whose labor keeps families, cities, and society moving. Miners, builders, drivers, cooks, fishermen, shoemakers, and fathers work before dawn and through exhaustion, often without recognition or applause. “Lumière”—light—symbolizes both what their labor creates and finally turning that light toward them. Its message is simple: we see your sacrifice, we value your hands and your back, and we thank you.

Ia-chhi
The song celebrates Taiwan through the warmth and energy of its night markets, food, people, landscapes, and resilience. An African visitor discovers connection through shared meals, hospitality, and a history of people crossing oceans. From Yushan to Sun Moon Lake, even typhoons cannot diminish the island’s spirit. “Ia-chhi”—night market—becomes a symbol of Taiwan’s heart: bright, welcoming, fearless, and alive when people come together.
